I probably would never have worked it out if 'Trigger on mouse down' hadn't been ticked.Īnyway, as I said this was probably just me being dumb, but there's possibly some opportunities to make the UI a bit clearer. I think the separator between the Enable button and the other two check-able buttons possibly added to the confusion somewhat. I thought it was just a status notice rather than a clickable enable/disable button. It took me longer than I'd like to admit to work out that the absence of a tick/check next to 'Enabled' meant it was disabled. This item: Logitech M705 Marathon wireless mouse, 2.4 GHz connection via Unifying USB receiver, 1000 DPI laser sensor, 3-year battery life, 7 buttons, PC / Mac - black, English packaging 38.88 In stock. I kept checking the UI and was convinced it was enabled because it said 'Enabled' at the top of the dropdown. I had an issue last week where SensibleSideButtons wasn't working. (This may well have just been me having an incredibly slow moment but I thought I'd submit the issue to at least bring up the conversation) If there is a way for me to help debug, let me know. Must restart SSB to get back/forward functionality. SSB works as expected back/forward with mouse functions.Re-connect MBP to monitor in clamshell mode (thus also connecting the mouse).Open MBP log in & observe everything working (though no mouse, so SSB is dormant).Disconnect monitor from MBP (disconnecting mouse also).Run SSB, observe that back/forward buttons on mouse work.Connect monitor to MBP in clamshell mode (in case that matters).Laptop: MacBook Pro 15" 2017 w/ touch bar.Mouse: Razer DeathAdder Elite, connected to monitor.

I've tried enable/disable and that is not sufficient a full SSB restart is needed to get the functionality to work again.

However after I hotplug to move to a different location, then re-connect my Mac, SSB stops working. When I first run Sensible Side Buttons, everything works nicely. I use Sensible Side Buttons with my MacBook Pro 15" 2017 era when I am connected to my Thunderbolt 3 monitor, which also acts as a USB hub.

First off, thank you for building this application! It is hugely appreciated.
